Your Annual Gift is necessary and has IMPACT.
Red River Theatres is your non-profit art-house cinema where ticket sales generate
only 40% of the revenues to power our mission of entertaining, broadening horizons and deepening appreciation of life for audiences of all ages.

This is where you come in…100% of your Annual Fund
investment stays right here to leverage
Red River Theatres’ commitment to its mission and its commitment to the greater Concord community to be a beacon for community engagement, enlightenment and yes…entertainment. We proudly do this in in the following ways:

Cultural Corner Stone – Red River screened 23 of the 25 best Indie films produced in 2013, demonstrating that we are the venue for independent film in the state.  For the 6th year, we screened the Academy Award’s Best Picture.  Because of our partnerships with organizations such as The World Affairs Council and NHPTV, we have been able secure our part in bringing the world to New Hampshire through series like Crossroads and Community Cinema. Both of these series are free to the public allowing access to anyone in the community who wishes to be part of the conversation.

Civic Engagement – Red River screened over 180 films and hosted over 65 panel discussions ranging from global topics like girls education with “GIRLRISING”, to local topics like the Northern Pass and the Appalachian Trail. Our engaging screenings make Red River the premiere location for film and discussion in the state.

Creative Outlet – With three film festivals calling Red River home, we offer a wide spectrum of film as art. We also partner with local and statewide organizations and community members to offer a diverse programming schedule. We showcase monthly artists for free in our community gallery as well as host live music, film and TV premieres and a variety of film events like International Monty Python Day, our annual Red Carpet Viewing Party, and our signature Movie Magic Events and Movie Sing-A-Longs, all of which are exclusive to Red River Theatres.

Economic Engine - Red River plays a large part in the renaissance of South Main Street. With our patrons annually putting close to a million dollars back into the local economy beyond our tickets sales, redevelopment and engagement on a local level are quick to follow.   Red River embraces opportunities to engage our community by hosting free outdoor film screenings at community events like Midsummer Night’s Magic and Market Days.

And finally, a Gathering Place – Red River serves as a gathering place for film lovers and community members alike. Not only do we offer shared experiences with the best in indie films, we encourage the community to use our space for gatherings, meetings, weddings, birthday parties, as well as fundraisers for other nonprofit organizations to help support their missions.  We are also an anchor for many young professionals in the greater concord community because we offer a beautiful space where creative things happen daily.

Red River Theatres is an arts non-profit that puts its heart into the community. And you help make all of this is possible! By being  Red River members and donors, you help Red River continue to fulfill its mission.
