CROSSROADS FILM & DISCUSSION SERIES: JIM – THE JAMES FOLEY STORY


Join us to watch the story of James Foley, a New Hampshire native and international journalist who was the first American murdered by ISIS in Syria in 2012. Post-film discussion will feature Diane Foley, Jim's mother, and President of the James Foley Legacy Foundation.

A look at the life of journalist James Foley, who was kidnapped in Syria in 2012 and became the first American citizen to be killed by the terrorist group ISIS. Friends, family, and professional colleagues share their recollections of him in this documentary. Directed by Brian Oakes, who was a childhood friend of Foley's. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.
