In 1967, TITICUT FOLLIES created quite a stir and launched the career of Massachusetts lawyer-turned-documentarian Frederick Wiseman. Given access to the inner workings at Bridgewater State Hospital, Wiseman caught on film the disturbing treatment afforded the criminally insane. It was banned for years as the state government deemed the film a violation of the patient's privacy and dignity. This 50th anniversary screening will include never before seen trial footage plus a special pre-recorded conversation between 87-year-old Wiseman and filmmaker Wes Anderson.
