Remembering Leonard Nimoy: His Life, Legacy, and Battle with COPD
Join us for a free screening of "Remembering Leonard Nimoy: His Life, Legacy, and Battle with COPD."
Diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in 2013, Leonard Nimoy made it his mission to educate the world on this illness, the third most common cause of death in the United States. Upon his death in 2015, the world lost not only a beloved actor, director, and celebrity but also a husband, father, and grandfather.
Directed by Nimoy's daughter, Julie, and son-in-law, David, "Remembering Leonard Nimoy: His Life, Legacy, and Battle with COPD" continues his mission of COPD awareness through the lens of the people that knew Leonard best: his family. Following the film, there will be a Q & A with a local pulmonologist
"Life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory." -Leonard Nimoy

Red River is the best cinematic experience that my wife and I have ever had – viewing angle, sound, seating, snacks, staff, web site are top shelf, and the movie selections themselves are talked about for days.
