This year we took our inspiration for our Fall/Winter 2016 Campaign from the NH favorite ON GOLDEN POND (1981, with Henry Fonda, Katherine Hepburn, and Jane Fonda), filmed on NH’s pristine Squam Lake.
Join us Dec. 8th at 6:30 PM for a screening of the film on our big screen in flawless dcp format for the first time at Red River Theatres. Stay afterward to hear from its Oscar-winning screenwriter, Ernest Thompson.

Prints of photography by Kathie Fife will be available in the lobby, as well, for holiday purchases. Many thanks to Kathie, for allowing us use of some of her loon images for our campaign.

Red River is the best cinematic experience that my wife and I have ever had – viewing angle, sound, seating, snacks, staff, web site are top shelf, and the movie selections themselves are talked about for days.
My favorite place to see a movie. I always know that whenever I drop in to Red River Theatres, I’ll have a great cinematic experience.
