Ralph Nader

Saturday, October 4
3 pm
Red River Theatres

The Ralph Nader for President Campaign will be holding a private screening of the 2006 documentary film, UnReasonable Man at Red River Theatres in Concord, New Hampshire. Hosted by the state coordinators Gary Hoffman and Alan R. Segal, the 2 hour documentary addresses the memorable 2000 Presidential election standoff which ignited the conventional wisdom argument whether Nader had deliberately spoiled Al Gore's spot for the White House.

Originally shown at the Sundance Film Festival, UnReasonable Man traces Mr. Nader's legacy as a consumer activist who wrote the seminal, investigative book Unsafe at Any Speed through his entry into the political arena. This documentary also explores many other current issues as it defines what Nader stands for. Following the film, the state coordinators will facilitate a discussion and will answer questions about how Ralph Nader views our challenge for the future in his run for the Presidency. Topics will include environmental, social, fiscal, labor and foreign policy. Find out more about the Nader Presidential Campaign by visiting the website www.votenader.org.

The viewing is scheduled to begin at 3PM on Saturday October 4 at Red River Theatres, which is located at 11 South Main Street, Concord, New Hampshire. Seating is limited to 50 people on a first come, first entered basis. There is no set admission fee for this event, but the Campaign would appreciate a small donation from each attendee with admission.

Prayer That Heals and Restores
Hear how prayer can make a profound difference in your life.
A talk by Martha Moffett
Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 pm

LectureIs God moved by prayer to intervene in our affairs?

Or does the right kind of prayer open your thought and life to the presence and healing power of God which is ever available?

Martha Moffett, who is in the full time healing practice of Christian Science, will address these questions in her upcoming talk at Red River Theatres in downtown Concord

She will give inspiring accounts of healing through prayer, and will also speak about how daily prayer for yourself protects from evil, ensures your continued spiritual growth, and makes natural and uninterrupted the unfolding of God’s great goodness in your life.

Martha, a former trial lawyer with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C, also worked in private practice. For three years she lived in the Middle East investigating conditions in prisons and refugee camps for a New York-based human rights organization. She gives lectures nationwide on the subject of prayer and healing.
