In August, the Community Gallery will feature an exhibit by Kathy Lowe

Artists Statement: Several years ago, I was in a boat out west and bent down to pick up my hat. My head was sideways, aligning with the horizontal landscape of madamewarriorearth reflected in the water. The water was quiet and still. There lie many faces in reflection, just waiting to be noticed and appreciated. I have been continually delighted at the uniqueness of each image. There are never two alike. The images remind me to honor and protect the water so that everyone can see this magic on the earth. The water has taught me to look at life in different ways and when I do, it's the most gratifying experience I have. the water, like no other element, invites me closer to the earth.

Artists Bio: Over the years I have been able to unite all my interests together as I realized that music, sound, rhythm, earth images were all becoming one thing. samaraiwarriorI have found a way to use my reflection photographs (Petreflections) in a performance art show. My path in life is to follow a muse and then find the connecting thread to tie into what already exists for me. I share my music with people of all ages, as it appears they reflect each other, just like the water reflects the earth.
